KUALA LUMPUR – Pharmaniaga Bhd, a leading pharmaceutical company, has recently announced its successful bid for a contract from the Health Ministry (MOH) to provide crucial medical supply logistics services. The news was confirmed in a filing with Bursa Malaysia where Pharmaniaga stated that its wholly owned subsidiary, Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd (PLSB), received the official contract letter from MOH on July 12.
The agreement spans over a significant period of seven years, commencing from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2030. This long-term contract solidifies Pharmaniaga’s position as a trusted partner in the medical industry.
Pharmaniaga expressed its commitment to maintaining seamless operations during the interim period before the official contract commencement. During this phase, which began on Dec 1, 2019, Pharmaniaga diligently provided vital medicines and medical supplies to MOH.
While the specific terms of the new agreement are being finalized between MOH and PLSB, Pharmaniaga Logistics will continue to extend full support and deliver its services to MOH based on the mutually agreed salient terms. This ongoing collaboration ensures a smooth transition from the interim phase to the official contract period.
