KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd’s subsidiary, Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd, has announced the commencement of gas production at the Bayan field through their mobile offshore production unit (Mopu) called TSeven Elise.
This milestone marks the beginning of a steady source of income for T7 Global Group over the next decade, as the TSeven Elise Mopu is expected to contribute consistent revenue.
T7 Global’s CEO, Tan Kay Zhuin, expressed the company’s commitment to optimizing Mopu operations to ensure continuous production while prioritizing environmental protection. He also highlighted that the gas production at the Bayan field will guarantee a stable supply for the gas market.
The TSeven Elise Mopu is located in the Balingian Province’s sub-block 4Q-21, approximately 80km Northwest of Bintulu Malaysia LNG. Operating at a water depth of around 30m, this newly built Mopu is specifically designed for the Bayan Redevelopment Project Gas Phase 2.
The advanced facility is equipped with state-of-the-art gas compression systems capable of processing and exporting up to 100 million standard cubic feet per day (SCFD) to the Bintulu Malaysia LNG facility.
