One thing netizens are always on the lookout for when it comes to photos of celebrities, is whether they’ve been edited. Well, Angelababy (杨颖) is the most recent celebrity to allegedly be guilty of such!
The Hong Kong actress has always been praised for her beauty and her ability to pull off almost any attire, save for her one see-through outfit. But, a recent photo had fans going after her and her studio as they assumed she had touched up the photo. Luckily, Angelababy’s response was fairly good-natured and teasing.
On 6th July, Angelababy’s studio released a set of photos showing the starlet at an event in Paris. As always, she was dressed to the nines, in a black mermaid dress, curled hair and bright red lipstick. Her visage impressed many, leading fans to compliment her. But, one photo in particular had them agitated.
The photo showed Angelababy posing next to a doorway. But sharp-eyed netizens noticed the reflection beside her looked distorted, leading fans to believe the photo had been retouched, and badly. Netizens allegedly criticised the studio for handling things sloppily and not reviewing the photos before releasing them. They even went as far as to claim her outfits were too common as she was always wearing black.
Well, Angelababy recently took to her socials to playfully respond to the matter, while uploading more photos of herself enjoying her time in Paris. “Took a photo with the Eiffel Tower. There’s some editing, some lazy editing,” she joked. However, the actress didn’t seem upset that her fans had alleged her of touching up her pics.
Well, it’s nice to see that Angelababy isn’t taking offence to the allegations. It certainly shows how confident she is in herself! But, her fans seemingly aren’t too happy with her easygoing response and are still hoping her studio will take their concerns seriously.
