Lately, it seems that quite a few famous people are being called out for not paying their debts to other famous people. Previously, a former minister responded to entrepreneur Aliff Syukri’s claims that he still owes him millions.
Guess what? Another local entrepreneur has called out a celebrity and her husband for not keeping their end of a deal and unlike Aliff Syukri, this businessman had no problems dropping names.
Yesterday (Tuesday, 4th July), Iddin Syah, founder of ESW, took to Instagram to call out singer-entrepreneur Cheta Pot Pet and her husband Aaron Lee for cheating him RM150k. According to the business owner, the couple allegedly went silent and were unreachable after he paid them the money for an undisclosed agreement.
“Please give me back my money! Your two-week period to explain the delayed debt is up. It’s been three weeks now and I haven’t received anything,” he wrote. The millionaire revealed that he only kept quiet about the debt because he received a letter from the couple’s attorney saying that they will gradually pay him the amount they owe him.
“I wanted to give them a chance but as expected, they didn’t keep their promise. Don’t say I’m slandering, cause I have all the proof!” the cosmetic entrepreneur said. He also claimed that he’s not the only one to fall victim to their schemes as mutual friends have come up to him with similar stories of them being cheated out of their money by the accused couple.
After exposing the singer and her husband, the couple’s fans have been defending them. The influencer then responded to those claims in a TikTok video by showing the aforementioned letter from the couple’s attorney.
Iddin mentioned that he has filed a police report back in June and will not hesitate to take action against Cheta and Aaron for what they’ve done to him. At the time of writing, neither the singer nor her husband have come forward with an official statement regarding the case.
