Members of the Brunei royal family have always received a lot of attention from the public, especially their young princes. Prince Mateen has made headlines multiple times just by posting a photo on his Instagram that sent fans into a frenzy. Some were even enchanted after hearing him speak Malay.
Now it looks like his half-sister Princess Ameerah Wardatul is getting more attention after netizens noticed how much she’s matured over the years and also the similarities between her and her mother.
A few days ago, a couple of videos were posted on TikTok by @thehuman_5 showing a photo montage of Princess Ameerah during a recent public appearance with her father Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. It was reported that they were attending the Charity Polo Day 2023 event at The Royale Polo and Riding Jerudong, Brunei.
The now 15-year-old Princess went for a simple beige-coloured top and slim-fitting trousers. According to a source, it was also mentioned that the Brunei royal family member has been attending the same school as her brother Prince Wakeel at Jerudong International School Brunei since 2017. The TikTok videos went viral with netizens complimenting Her Royal Highness’s beauty.
It has been a while since the public saw the young princess making an appearance as many commented on how much she’s grown. Most commenters wrote how much Her Highness resembles her mother, Azrinaz Mazhar Hakim who used to work as a news reporter at TV3 back in the day. A few even compared her beauty to Canadian singer Avril Lavigne and Malaysian actress Anna Jobling.
Even her mother Azrinaz Mazhar Hakim chimed in and reposted the TikTok video on her Instagram with a caption that reads, “Many say that we look alike…your grace and beauty is a lil lot to handle 😘 Blessed.”
Unfortunately for the former news reporter, she doesn’t get to see her daughter as often after divorcing the Sultan of Brunei. Let’s hope we’ll get to see a reunion between these two.
