Fans of Hong Kong singer Aaron Kwok (郭富城) have waited eight long years to watch him perform live in Malaysia. And of course, they wouldn’t pass up the chance to express their appreciation for the legendary superstar.
From 23rd to 25th June, Aaron Kwok gave his all in three performances which fans vocally appreciated as evidenced by their cheering. However, one fan went a step further in their appreciation by gifting Aaron a money bouquet consisting of RM50 notes!
The 58-year-old clearly enjoyed his fans’ enthusiasm as much as they enjoyed his performance as during the concert, Aaron shared that Malaysia was his “blessed land”. True to form, the singer outdid himself during his performances, and it seems one fan, in particular, wanted to acknowledge Aaron’s hard work.
A photo of the incident first went viral on 小红书. “Fans love him a lot!” the caption read. “A bouquet of RM50 banknotes was given to (Aaron Kwok).” The caption added that he had received the bouquet on the second day of his concert, assumedly during one of his performances.
Netizens were astonished by the generous gift and praised the fan. “This is a really heartfelt fan,” one commented. Others who claimed to have been attending the concert at the time admitted they thought it was a bunch of blue flowers. One asked if another bouquet, a red one, was also made of money. However, the netizen stated that they didn’t know as the organiser had not said anything.
Well, it certainly speaks volumes about how much fans appreciate Aaron Kwok! In fact, one hawker stall owner even closed his shop to catch the recent concert. We’re not sure when the singer will return to Malaysia for another performance, but we hope it’s soon!
