Canadian-born Hong Kong actress Eliza Sam (岑丽香) once earned the title of “宅男女神 (Household Goddess)” for her looks when she first debuted in the entertainment industry. She certainly earned the title after getting a few beauty pageant wins under her belt.
However, Eliza had been reducing her appearance in the entertainment industry after marrying in 2016 and having two kids. Since then, netizens think Eliza has changed quite a bit since her time on screen. More specifically, they suspect she’s gotten some work done on her eyes.
The 38-year-old has been living quite the peaceful life since tying the knot with her outsider beau. She later gave birth to two sons, who then took up her time as well. But, Eliza has been keeping fans updated on her life with her socials. Unfortunately, all that has done is left her open to criticism from netizens.
Many are of the opinion that Eliza has gotten plastic surgery done on her eyes, resulting in her having bigger eyes. Several have even commented as such on her posts. “The corners of your eyes are too exaggerated, (your) eyes (look) strange,” one reportedly said. Another commented: “This (beauty work) is too obvious.”
But, some disagree. A few have pointed out Eliza still has Monolid eyes or epicanthic fold, which is a skin fold of the upper eyelid covering the inner corner of the eye. Eliza reportedly had Monolid eyes when she was in Miss Chinese International. As such, some believe she has yet to get plastic surgery done on her eyes.
Eliza Sam has yet to comment on netizens’ suspicions. Still, regardless of her plastic surgery status, Eliza definitely still looks attractive, as evident by her fans’ constant cooing over her. Time has certainly been kind to her!
