A local internet personality has come under massive fire this week after she shared some photos and videos of her feeding milk to a tiger and a baby lion on her Instagram.

For context, the influencer and her husband travelled to Bangkok recently to celebrate her 27th birthday. She treated her followers with photos and videos taken during her trip there – leaving everyone in wanderlust!

In one of the many posts shared on her socials, the couple can be seen spending some fun time at a wildlife park. The caption reads, “My husband asked me, ‘What do you want for your birthday?’ and I answered, ‘(Visiting) Safari in Africa!’ But Bangkok is also fine.” She and her partner were also spotted interacting with the animals there.

This was met with mixed reactions from netizens. Scrolling through the comments section, some netizens called for the influencer to stop promoting animal cruelty on her channel. Others also called for her to be smarter and more aware of the issue of animal abuse in the country.

One netizen commented, “I read somewhere that the tigers were drugged, that’s why they can be tamed. They’re supposed to be in the wild. Pity the tiger.” Another commenter criticised the social media figure, saying, “I don’t get why you have to support this. You can use your brain. Influencer 👎👎.”

Despite the backlash, the influencer in question seems to be unbothered by the netizens’ comments.
