Since Taiwanese artist Aaron Yan (炎亞綸)’s untimely sex scandal exposé by his ex-boyfriend 邱耀乐 (Qiu Yaole), things have been on tenterhooks for the artist. With his career screeching to a halt, some netizens have been siding with him, while others are demanding he face the music for his actions.
There hasn’t been any news on further action regarding his case. However, netizens are now claiming Aaron Yan’s sex scandal has shed some light on his time in boy group Fahrenheit (飛輪海). Especially regarding the way his former group mate Jiro Wang (汪东城) reacted to him.
Netizens had reportedly always suspected Aaron Yan of having feelings for Jiro. In fact, they once asked the singer on his socials if it was true. However, Aaron had denied it. “It’s something that has never happened since (the beginning of time),” he reportedly responded.
However, they weren’t convinced. Especially after he was once spotted praising Jiro for his muscles while caressing them. Additionally, there was supposedly also a time when Jiro had locked Aaron out of their hotel room after he snuck out to play mahjong during their concert in Taichung. It certainly didn’t help when netizens found Aaron’s 2010 post and photo declaring: “(I’m) in Jiro Wang’s room.”
Netizens were quick to claim that this might have been the reason why Jiro had locked the hotel door all those years ago. “Jiro Wang really (spent) his life rejecting Aaron Yan,” one reportedly said. Some comments were even spotted sympathizing with Jiro, claiming “Aaron Yan once took advantage of him on the show.”
Neither Aaron Yan nor Jiro Wang has responded to the speculations. However, it’s certainly true that things have not been looking good for Aaron. Companies have reportedly already started withdrawing their contracts with him. He’s also allegedly lost his title as one of Taiwan’s 十大杰出青年 (Top Ten Outstanding Youths).
