Ever since the #MeToo movement in Taiwan, more and more Taiwanese celebrities are being exposed for their past deeds related to sexual harassment. The good image upheld by celebrities, like TV host Mickey Huang (黃子佼) and artist Aaron Yan (炎亞綸), was destroyed after victims exposed them as sexual predators.
Recently, a netizen dug up an old video of Mickey revealing that he kept the bottled water his current wife drank from 9 years ago. Netizens expressed their disgust when they heard about this, and this sparked heated discussions among them.
Years ago, Mickey hosted the TV show, “Wedding Singer”, with his apprentice, Lulu (黄路梓茵). In one of the episodes, a groom showed the bill he had kept from their first date together. Seeing that, Mickey revealed that he has also kept something from his first meeting with his current wife, Summer Meng (孟耿如).
When netizens heard what the TV host had mentioned, they were appalled. Apparently, he had kept the leftover mineral water that his wife had drank from 9 years ago when she first came to his studio. As soon as this remark came out, everyone exclaimed in shock. “There is about a third left, and she doesn’t know about this,” he added. When Lulu asked him on why he decided to keep something like this, he was lost for words.
This disgusted many netizens. Many netizens called Mickey a pervert for keeping such a thing for a long time, while others suspected that this bottled mineral water is not the only thing he has kept of his wife.
