Malaysian internet personality Dato’ Seri Mahadi Badrul Zaman is finally clearing the air on the rumours regarding his involvement in any scam syndicates.
For context, the husband to local singer Heliza Helmi was accused of being a scammer, with all of his alleged tactics being “exposed” online. Mahadi has finally broke his silence to address the allegations.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with mStar, the entrepreneur said he felt offended and upset by the ongoing rumours targeting him. “I’ve been defamed. I’ve never committed any frauds. If I scammed other people, the police would have arrested me, and I would have been wanted by the Bank Negara officers,” Mahadi explained. “But I’m clean. There’s no report lodged against me.”
During the chat with the local portal, Mahadi also said that he felt bad for his celebrity wife as she was badly affected by the controversy surrounding him. “I pity my wife. Since she’s an artiste, people would ask her (about me) when she goes to the filming set,” he was quoted as saying.
Mahadi also revealed that he has already lodged a report to the police about the matter. Watch the full interview here:
