Apart from Coldplay, Muse’s concert in Kuala Lumpur has been one of the highly-awaited concerts this year. Announced back in February, the English rock band will take the stage at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, KL on 29th July, which is a few days away!
Normally, international artists would arrive in Malaysia a day before the show, to check into their hotel and prep but surprisingly, one fan revealed that the members of the Grammy Award-winning band are already in the country. Watch:
Yesterday (Monday, 25th July), a TikTok user who goes @muzmdnoor posted a video on his channel that showed Muse’s frontman Matt Bellamy arriving at Langkawi International Airport with his wife Elle Evans, and daughter Lovella Dawn Bellamy. The couple can be seen exiting a white vehicle before entering the airport with the model carrying their crying toddler.
It is unknown why the singer landed in Malaysia with his family this early but many assumed that they were taking this opportunity to go sightseeing before the musician goes into full work mode for the upcoming concert this weekend. In a follow-up video posted earlier today (Tuesday, 25th July), it was revealed that other members of the band, Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitarist) and Dominic Howard (drummer) were also there to join the fun trip to the tropical archipelago.
Fans were excited after seeing the videos with many commenting that they’re looking forward to seeing Muse perform this Saturday. At the time of writing, none of the members have personally posted on their social media to announce their arrival in the country. It’s possible that they’re trying to keep a low profile with the intention to fully enjoy their holiday here before the concert.
While we wait for the upcoming show, let’s give the guys some space to relax and enjoy Malaysia to the fullest. Hopefully, they’ll have some lovely and fun stories to share with fans later.
