For many couples, having children is definitely a blessing. While many couples start expanding their family shortly after getting married, there are also those like singer Elizabeth Tan who have decided to postpone her plans of having a baby due to her busy work commitments.
Actress Janna Nick and actor Dini Schatzmann recently got married last month and fans have been wondering if the celebrity couple is planning to have kids soon but her answer to that inquiry left many perplexed. Here’s what she said:
In an interview posted yesterday (Wednesday, 5th July), Janna Nick was asked if she and her husband are ready to have kids. The actress revealed that they’d feel very blessed if they were to have a child in the near future. “We’d have to plan it carefully and truthfully, my work schedule is quite full this year but if we were to be blessed with a child, we’d still feel grateful,” she said.
However, the “Mentari Setia” singer revealed that she actually has a zodiac preference for her child. She said, “If possible, I’d want my child to be a Libra. I don’t think that’s possible this year so hopefully next year. I’d really like for my child to be born a Libra”. Although she did not specify the reason why, it is to be assumed that it’s because her husband Dini Schatzmann is also a Libra.
The 28-year-old’s answer to the question received mixed reactions from netizens. Some played along by stating that they too were born a Libra while many criticised her for believing in the zodiac signs as it goes against Islamic beliefs. A few also reminded the “Juang” star that it’s better to have a healthy baby and that she should focus on the Islamic months rather than the zodiac signs.
Apart from wanting to have a Libra baby, Janna also shared how she and Dini are still getting used to being newlyweds. “We’re still taking time to readjust our daily life now that we’re married. It still feels a little awkward whenever people congratulate us on our marriage and I’m still not used to calling [Dini] my husband,” she said shyly.
