Nothing compares to a decent cup of coffee. It’s warm, steamy and inviting, and it’ll get you going in the mornings. While some of us enjoy coffee early in the day, before work, others choose to imbibe during the weekends with friends, while gossiping. If you’re one of the latter and looking to try out new coffee shops, here are 5 homegrown coffee shops in the Klang Valley to try.

    Kopi Dua Darjat

One of the Klang Valley’s most popular coffee cafes, Kopi Dua Darjat serves the most authentic style of coffee – with a twist. If you’re the type to go through cup upon cup of strong coffee of different tastes, Kopi Dua Darjat has the menu for you. The cafe makes its coffee with locally-sourced ingredients – and you can tell from the taste. Many of its patrons say the cafe reminds them of home – and what a sweet home it is.

Hejau was established by Jane Chuck and a few of her pals to serve matcha drinks with a twist.
