    From 22nd to 30th April, Crane KL will serve a Raya Dulang set menu that’s perfect for celebrating Hari Raya with your loved ones. The set menu, priced at only RM90.00++, is designed to serve two people and features a mouth-watering selection of traditional dishes that are sure to tantalise your taste buds. Highlights of the menu include the crowd-favourite Mandi Rice, Chickpea Curry, Chicken Kebab on Serai Stick with Sriracha Aioli, Pickled Mixed Vegetables, and a dessert platter featuring Bahulu, Dodol, Kuih Semperit, Coconut Cookies, and Almond London.

    Following last quarter’s much-loved Oriental High Tea, the talented culinary team at TRACE Restaurant & Bar will once again pay tribute to the multicultural food scene in Malaysia by introducing the “Santapan Petang” Malay High Tea, which celebrates traditional, village-style Malay afternoon snacks.

    Elegantly presented in a “congkak” game board, the new crowd-pleasing high tea encompasses a delicious range of Malay savories starting with a trio of refreshing appetizers, namely Pulut Panggang, Egg Skin Popiah with Rojak Sauce, and Otak-Otak Terrine with Mango Kerabu. What follows is a range of mouth-watering savory items, including Chicken Satay Celup, Deep-fried Tiger Prawn Celup Tepung, Beef Taufu Bergedil with Chili Soy Sauce, as well as the highly-addictive Crispy Fish Skin with Curry Salted Egg Sprinkle.

    Patrons with a sweet tooth are in for a treat with TRACE’s delectable dessert platter, assembling all-time favourites Kuih Lapis, Kuih Tako, Kuih Bakar Kemboja and Jackfruit Chiffon Cake, as well as Tapai Pulut in Pandan Leaf, Serawa Durian with Toasted Bread and Som Som Sweet Porridge with Gula Melaka. The iconic beverage, Teh Tarik, will also be served.

    Priced at RM148 nett with a sharing portion for 2 people, the Santapan Petang High Tea is available from now till 30th June 2023, from Monday to Friday.

    This distinctive Petaling Jaya cafe is well-known for its gula apong ice cream, which is made using nipah palm sugar from Sarawak. Aside from the ice cream, the coffee and desserts are pure gula apong-infused. The Signature Apong, Apong Coffee Latte, and Matcha Latte made with flavourful Niko Neko matcha powder, are all must-tries. While you enjoy your coffee and desserts, you also get to savour the cozy and quiet atmosphere, amidst an aesthetically pleasing interior.

    Chum Chum Pizzeria

    Chum Chum Pizzeria was started by a group of Malaysians who really, really, really love pizza. Although their recipe didn’t come from an Italian nonna, they have an enthusiastic team and a bunch of flour to play around with. Chum Chum Pizzeria delivers a vast variety of pizza toppings and they’re not afraid to get creative. Besides pizzas, they also serve snacks, salads, pastas, burgers and of course, desserts!

    Babel Restaurant offers Middle Eastern meals, as well as dishes to suit local tastes, at affordable prices. The Chicken Mandi and Chicken Kabsa dishes are must-haves!     Shozo Kamizato

    Shozo Kamizato is the place to go if you love a good bowl of ramen. But what’s interesting is that their latest edition to the menu, the Boba Cold Tsukemen (dry dipping noodle), it super kewl! The soup is a combination of their Signature Tonkotsu soup and Milk Tea mixed with their own version of Boba. The noodles are then topped with Wild Rocket leaf, Japanese cucumber strips, lemon, Ohba leaf, char shui strips, egg, strawberry and the star of the show, Boba. It might seem weird, but this is the first boba ramen in Malaysia that’s worth the hype. Try it while it’s available!

    Have a feast with Nando’s Platter Ramai-Ramai!
