It was recently brought to our attention that there was an option for people to consider if they wish to reach KLIA without spending too much. According to KLIAEkpres, a standard single trip to KLIA from the Putrajaya Sentral station with KLIA Transit will cost you only RM8.50 if you purchase the ticket online!

So for those who would like to take this opportunity but are not too familiar with the website or how to purchase the tickets online, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

    • Step 1: Visit the KLIAEkpres website at https://www.kliaekspres.com/
    • Step 2: Click Buy Now and select your destination from Putrajaya Sentral to KLIA and your preferred travel date.
    • Step 3: Click Buy Now once you confirm the details and proceed to payment.

As for terms and conditions, your purchased ticket(s) is valid for 31 days from your selected Travel Date and the ticket(s) can be used to travel on the selected sector from the origin station only. It’s important to note that the RM8.50 price only applies if you’re taking the train from the Putrajaya Sentral station to KLIA. This does not include your mode of transport to the station.

Another Sidenote: For those who are not subscribed to the My50 Pass, you would still be charged accordingly if you were to transit from any station to reach the Putrajaya Sentral station. But you can still enjoy free rides on the new MRT line till 31st March. So there you go, folks! Start making your travel plans now! Happy trip everyone.
