Now, settle down you lovebirds. We know the air is still filled with love, but we are back again this week with new events for you after the spectacular pre-Valentine’s date ideas that we lined up for you last week.
For this week, not only do we have more events for you to keep the love and sparks flying between you and your partner, there’s also a Tekken championship for those old-timers who’d like to bring back the nostalgia, a new matcha ice cream shop to remind you life isn’t that bitter, and for the singles and adventurous; who knows, you might find your other half at one of the events 🙂

1. Pads And Paws Cat Adoption Drive

If you’re thinking of adopting a fur baby of your own, then head over to Kepong this Saturday to take one in as a family member and give them a forever home full of love and affection! You don’t have to bring anything, as they will be delivered right at your doorstep the next day. However, please do not adopt one impulsively! Ensure that you have the time and energy and are committed to caring for one of these fur babies first.

In accordance with Federal Territory Day and Kuala Lumpur Golden Jubilee Celebration, DBKL is hosting a Fighting Games Championship for the public to join. So, if you feel like reminiscing those nostalgic days you used to spend in the arcade playing Tekken, then this is the event for you this week!
3. Magic: The Gathering Virtual Art Exhibition

If you’re a fan of tabletop card games, you would be more than familiar than “Magic: The Gathering”. If you just couldn’t get enough of the intricacy of the cards, this is your chance to attend a virtual exhibition of MTG featuring their freshly released set of “Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty” and experience it like you have never before.
Get transported to the world of Kamigawa and watch the cards come to life, listen to the commentary by the artists themselves, witness more than 30 unpublished materials, and you can even attend a community gathering in the “Octagonal Pavilion”!

Ever wondered if you could come up with your own soap fragrance? Have you always wanted to design your own soap bar? Then you’re in luck this week! Awaken your inner soap maker in this workshop by learning how to use different flowers and extracts to make soap. This might even be the jumpstart for your very own vegan soap business.

We’re here this week again with another event from Sip and Paint for you. This time, they’re bringing back their glow in the dark session with a whale being the main subject of your drawing. Time to get your inner glow on, people!

10. PLSC Roller Skate

We know there seems to be a roller skating and blading fever going on around here. So, roller-bladers, we have another spot for you to skate away at in Ampang. PLSC is located in an empty parking lot and it can accommodate up to 100 people in the park.
For the singles, we know we have been focusing on the lovebirds since last week, but don’t worry, this one’s for you. Head over to PLSC on Wednesday nights, because they have a night specially just for you. So, roll those roller blade wheels, get mingling and let someone else sweep you off your wheels for the night!
