You’d think the newly-opened outdoor theme park or the countless number of famous retail outlets will be your ultimate reason to never leave the pleasure-filled entertainment hub that is, Genting Highlands. We would disagree, now that we have an announcement that is sure to delight you all.

Malaysians went AWOL after the opening of the much-anticipated Genting Skyworlds Theme Park earlier this year, leaving everyone shaking with excitement. Currently, the world-renowned tourist destination has bigger plans for the future after revealing their upcoming brand-new development project called Tropicana Windcity.

In partnership with Powerchina International Group Limited (“PowerChina”), Tropicana Corporation Berhad intends to develop the futuristic-like Tropicana Paradise—Malaysia’s largest indoor entertainment city—right here in South East Asia’s most popular tourist hotspot, covering up to 596 acres of indoor fun.

Visitors can come to expect a variety of joyous activities such as indoor water theme parks, ski resorts, aquarium restaurants, roller-coasters, go-karts and much more for all to enjoy! Additionally, the natural landscape will be protected and utilised as a means for jungle trekking and other outdoor experiences, however with a modern twist to it by installing dancing fountains and giant LED screens.

Of course, when it comes to any development plan, one must head towards promoting sustainability and a greener future. Fortunately, Tropicana Corporation promises sustainable infrastructure and transportation facilities, which includes a cable car system, electric tram system, elevated pedestrian walkways (disabled-friendly) and bicycle and wheels tracks for scooters, skateboards and the like.
