The Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC) are an iconic location, on top of being a place you can shop at. However, this year, we also get a chance to enjoy its beauty backlit by the perfect sunrise. On 27th February, the sun is set to rise right between the two towers, giving a beautiful visage to anyone watching.

According to Twitter user Syazwan, this spectacular sunrise occurred last year as well. However, if you missed it, or if you want to see it again, this is the time for it. He also recommends the best place to catch it and enjoy a lovely view of KL’s skyline, which would be Changkat Tunku Lookout Point, around 7am to 8am.

There are other places to catch this view, however, you have to be in the right place at the right time. But, do remember, that there will likely be others around hoping to catch the moment themselves. So, don’t forget to practice social distancing, and keep your masks on at all times.

This is definitely something to add to your list of things to do this week alongside our activity picks here. But, if you can’t quite make it this Sunday, don’t be too upset. According to Syazwan, the phenomena might happen again on 15th October this year. Or else, there’s always next year!
