Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

For this year’s Hari Raya, the mall seeks to bridge the gap between traditional cultural heritage and the modern world. Featuring a heritage house transformed to become a modern heritage house with the use of batik decoration and experiential projection mapping, dive into learning more about the cultures and traditions of Malay heritage with one of the most popular mall in Bukit Bintang. Surrounding the Centre Court are also stunning stained-glass panels inspired by Islamic art and architecture that create a colourful backdrop to the 150-year-old house.
Pavilion’s iconic landmark, the Crystal Fountain, is decorated for this special session too. In collaboration with Coach, charming pink lanterns surround the fountain while illuminated crescents and stars hang above its entrance. The lanterns bring about a warm feeling as it shines in front of Pavilion KL during Raya.
Pavilion Bukit Jalil
You can’t miss out on an opportunity to meet with the world’s most beloved cat and pop-culture icon Garfield! If you’re looking to reminisce your past, walk down memory lane at Sunway Pyramid. Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic charms of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, geometrical and Arabesque structures symbolizing guidance, diversity and inclusivity are used to decorate the Orange Concourse of Sunway Pyramid. You should also visit to check out the Chamber of Lights, an interactive light zone that will take you to a realm beyond your wildest imagination.
There will also be an EAP booth showcasing artwork created by the autism community. Merchandise are sold here and all profits generated by the booth will be used to support their ongoing efforts to raise awareness and promote acceptance for individuals with autism.
Sunway Velocity
A sea of colourful lights will welcome you upon arrival at the Main Atrium of Sunway Velocity. Giving off a modern Islamic setting, you will witness sparkling lights and beautiful geometrical arrangement, along with breathtaking 3D sculptures. In the middle of the atrium stands a 31-feet centrepiece, adorn with hanging radiant lanterns. Don’t forget to stand under it to shower yourself with unlimited blessings!
What’s more is that Sunway Velocity has also incorporated interactive engagements to their decorations this festive season! Watch fireworks and bursting sounds come to live below your feet when you step on the LED platforms.
In addition to the radiant and stunning decorations, parents can bring their children to experience living an ‘adult life’. A space will be set up by the mall for kids to have the opportunity to enhance their interpersonal and social skills by selling pouches, t-shirts, and tote bags of their design. Kids can also attend a workshop to help them develop their skills.
Sunway Putra Mall
Incorporating bright neon lights with traditional Arabic-designs, Sunway Putra Mall hopes to bring light and happiness with their decorations this Raya season. Set in the mall’s Main Concourse, Ground Floor, you can follow a neon-lit tunnel that leads you to an elegant geometric star centrepiece. The neon-tunnel will be a journey for many as it is incorporated with unique digital innovations like movement, sound and lights, light motions change and music plays. In light of World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April, Sunway Putra Mall has also include a calm room, furnished with dimmed lights and sensory tools. The rooms are mainly for autistic individuals or individuals with disabilities to calm down and readjust to their surroundings. These rooms will be further equipped to the rest of the mall.
Suria KLCC
It’s kampung nelayan (fishing village) appreciation season this Raya with Suria KLCC. Replicating a traditional fishing village, Suria KLCC features a wooden rumah kampung (village house) surrounded by coconut trees in its Centre Court. You can relive your childhood days at the kampung house with nostalgic childhood games ranging from teng teng (hopscotch) to congkak. A photo booth will be available for shoppers to take festive photos with loved ones with the beautiful decorations as a background too.
Suria KLCC has also brought back the Lampu Pelita Replica that made it into the Malaysia Book of Records in 2022 as the Largest Pelita Replica.
