If you’ve seen the 2009 hit movie “Avatar” or its sequel “Avatar: The Way of Water“, then you’ve probably at one point wished that you could witness and experience the beautiful world of Pandora.

While it may not be exactly the same, you can definitely check out the next best thing in Langkawi. Tourists have reportedly been flooding the Dream Forest Langkawi since its launch earlier this year. Here’s why:

“As night falls, the dream forest comes alive”. The Dream Forest Langkawi is a new tourist attraction located at the foot of Gunung Raya on the beautiful tropical archipelago that has been introduced and opened to the public just last month and has since gone viral for obvious reasons.

As shown in the video posted above, guests will be taken on an enchanting 1.2km night walk through a prehistoric 100 million-year-old rainforest trail where they can also learn more about Langkawi and Kedah’s legends and folklores such as Tasik Dayang Bunting, Merong Mahawangsa and the Langkawi Giants through the amazing light displays, soundscapes, and multi-sensory technologies.

Local celebrities like actress Natasha Hudson shared her recent experience of visiting the mind-blogging luminescent forest in a TikTok video she posted earlier this week. “The way the lights were reflected on the trees’ surface was truly mesmerizing. If kids can get excited about all these, imagine us adults,” she said in her video. The actress’s video was enough to convince fans to stop by the new attraction during their next visit to Langkawi.

From her and other content creators’ videos, we can definitely see why a lot of people are taking the time during their holidays to experience the magical night walk. For those who wish to visit the Dream Forest, it’s open every day except Wednesday from 7pm to 12 midnight. Tickets are priced at RM68 for adults, RM48 for children, and RM28 for seniors.

For Langkawi residents, however, the tickets are offered at special prices; RM38 for adults, RM28 for children, and RM28 for senior citizens. So what are you waiting for? Explore the enchanting world of the Dream Forest Langkawi now.
