As many may know, Malaysian-born actress Jacqueline Ch’ng (庄思敏) is very well off. Recently, the Datuk’s daughter decided to invest some of that money. However, the way she carried the cash in public left us horrified!
We’re no strangers to having to carry cash in public. However, most of us are pretty aware of the possible dangers when hauling a large amount of moola around. Well, all we can say is, Jacqueline Ch’ng does not seem to share the same reservations.
Investing is all the rage, especially since it’s a good way of putting your money to work. As such, Jacqueline Ch’ng recently shared that she decided to invest money that had been in her fixed deposit as her bank’s fixed interest rate wasn’t very high.
Her latest YouTube video showed her taking a yellow eco-friendly bag and a branded handbag to the streets of Hong Kong. Jacqueline looked very casual as she strolled straight to a cryptocurrency store.
Jacqueline had no qualms dropping the bag off at the shop’s counter. To our surprise, the clerk reached in and withdrew stacks of Hong Kong dollars, allegedly 2 million (~RM1.15 million) in total. Needless to say, Jacqueline looked perfectly calm for someone who had been carrying around 2 million Hong Kong dollars in cash.
Most netizens weren’t too concerned with Jacqueline’s way of flaunting her wealth. One netizen even commented on how cute she was. But, if you are carrying large amounts of cash, please do be careful, and be aware of your surroundings when you have it on you!
