A 6.5 magnitude earthquake hit near El Salvador’s Pacific coast on Tuesday evening, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred at a depth of around 70 kilometers.
The environment ministry of El Salvador stated that there were no immediate reports of damages and no tsunami warning was issued in response to the earthquake.
