Agro Madani, Rahmah Sales bazaars to be held more often, says Anwar

According to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, more Agro Madani and Rahmah Sales bazaars will be organized in an effort to assist the public in dealing with the increasing cost of living. The Prime Minister stated that due to numerous requests from the public, the bazaars will expand to more areas nationwide and be held more frequently.

He made these comments during a visit to the bazaar at Klebang Restu on Jan 28, expressing awareness of the rising cost of living despite various measures being taken to address it.

There have been concerns that food prices will remain high even with increased investment in the country. Anwar acknowledged the criticisms and pledged to find ways to resolve issues at the grassroots level.

He also mentioned that he had delegated Bukit Gantang MP Datuk Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal to lead the Special Meeting of the National Action Council on Cost of Living (Naccol).
