PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh, the new Attorney General (AG), has expressed his commitment to fulfilling the trust placed in him. On his first day of duty on September 6, he assured the media that he will do his best to carry out his responsibilities. He made these remarks while logging into the online attendance system at 8.15am in the lobby of the Attorney-General’s Office located here.
Furthermore, Ahmad Terrirudin also conveyed his gratitude to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the government for appointing him as the AG. His appointment comes following the expiration of Tan Sri Idrus Harun’s contract, who previously held the position.
Prior to his new role, 55-year-old Ahmad Terrirudin served as the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court, and on March 25, 2022, he was appointed as the Solicitor-General. Bernama reported this information.
