Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf announced that another suspect has been detained in relation to a police investigation involving MYAirline. The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested at his residence in Bangsar early on Monday morning. Comm Ramli stated that the suspect will be taken to the Jinjang central lockup for the remand application.

The CCID has made several seizures during the course of their investigation. Comm Ramli reported that so far, they have seized 12 vehicles, documents connected to i-Serve Technology and Vacation Sdn Bhd, six luxury wristwatches, eight luxury handbags, two laptops, a CPU, and 10 pieces of jewelry. He also mentioned that the investigation is ongoing.

Datuk Allen Goh is currently under a remand order that will expire on Monday. Comm Ramli stated that the main suspect will be released on police bail, and their current focus is to examine important documents related to i-Serve business transactions.

A prior news report stated that Goh, his wife, and son were detained by the CCID at their residence in Shah Alam on Oct 17. All three were initially remanded until Oct 21, but Goh’s remand was extended until Monday while his wife and son were released.

MYAirline recently halted its operations due to financial issues and pending shareholder restructuring and recapitalization. The sudden suspension affected around 125,000 passengers, whose tickets were worth RM20mil. In response to the announcement on Oct 16, Transport Minister Anthony Loke declared a temporary suspension of MYAirline Sdn Bhd’s license.
