PKR wants Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun to be retained as the Negeri Sembilan Mentri Besar if the Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional alliance wins the state elections next month, according to PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar praised Aminuddin’s performance in leading Negeri Sembilan and his efforts in helping the people with various programmes. He stated that Aminuddin has created a leadership that is accessible and easy to approach.

Anwar mentioned that talks with other partners and Umno president and Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi are still ongoing to finalize the position of Mentri Besar in Negeri Sembilan.

To support DAP’s decision, Anwar welcomed the retention of Chow Kon Yeow as the Penang Chief Minister. PKR believes that Chow has done an excellent job in developing the state and is known for his approachable nature, even with the Malays.

Based on reports received, Anwar expressed confidence that the PH-BN alliance can win Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Penang in the upcoming polls. However, he emphasized the need for hard work from the party machinery to achieve this.
