PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, the information chief of PAS, has spoken out against the arson attack on the house of Beruas MP Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham, describing it as unacceptable.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday (Jan 10), Ahmad Fadhli condemned the incident and stressed that political differences should not lead to acts of violence.
“Regardless of political differences, committing arson and destroying someone’s property, especially endangering life, is an unacceptable deed,” he said.
Ahmad Fadhli also emphasized that the tragic incident should be left to the authorities to investigate and cautioned the public against speculating about it.
“All parties should not do anything that could disrupt the investigation,” added the Pasir Mas MP.
The arson attack resulted in the damage of three cars when a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the compound of Ngeh’s Ipoh house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
