At least three people were killed and seven injured after a blast ripped through a hotel in southeastern Afghanistan’s Khost province on Monday, according to the province’s media office.
The identity of those responsible for the blast is still unclear.
The Taliban in Afghanistan has been conducting raids against members of the Islamic State, which has claimed responsibility for a number of devastating attacks in urban areas in recent months.
