An Australian sailor, Timothy Lyndsay Shaddock, and his dog Bella were rescued by a Mexican fishing ship in Manzanillo, Mexico, ending their months-long ordeal at sea. They set sail from La Paz in April, but their catamaran was damaged in a storm, leaving them stranded. They survived by eating raw fish and drinking rainwater.
Grateful and relieved, Shaddock expressed his appreciation for the rescue. Despite experiencing hunger during his time adrift, he is now feeling great. Bella, his loyal companion, is doing amazing. Shaddock found Bella in Mexico before their ill-fated journey.
