LA PAZ (Reuters) – Bolivian President Luis Arce said on Wednesday that highway blockades organized across the country for the last 17 days have had an economic impact worth over $1.7 billion.
According to the president, 70 people, including 61 police officers, have been injured in the blockades, organized by supporters of former leader Evo Morales.
