PETALING JAYA: The allocations and incentives provided to the police force under Budget 2025 will be managed prudently and with integrity, says the Inspector-General of Police.

In a statement on Friday (Oct 18), Tan Sri Razarudin Husain expressed the police force’s gratitude for the allocations, particularly the RM2.1bil designated for building a new police contingent headquarters in Penang, new district headquarters in Wangsa Maju and Petaling Jaya, and the Tanjung Minyak police station in Melaka.

He also acknowledged the RM1.8bil allocated for the improvement, repairs, and construction of government servant quarters and Armed Forces homes, as well as the RM20mil set aside to strengthen the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC).

“The police remain committed to delivering services with the highest levels of integrity and governance, while also supporting the government’s policies for the people’s welfare and the nation’s prosperity,” he said.
