KUALA LUMPUR: The government is sensitive and committed to stimulate the economy and raise the people’s standard of living as well as to eradicate poverty in the country, said Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri R Ramanan (pic).

He said this was evident through the presentation of Budget 2025 by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, involving the injection of RM421bil, which is the largest budget in the country’s history.

“This shows the government’s determination to help and empower the people’s economy. The Madani government is concerned and committed to reducing the burden of the cost of living for all races.

“Budget 2025 clearly proves that many initiatives have been planned to secure the future of Malaysians, especially the B40 group,” he said through a post uploaded on social media here on Saturday (Oct 19).

Ramanan, who is also the Sungai Buloh MP, said various new initiatives in Budget 2025 also gave new hopes to the people and investors.

This enables them to believe that Malaysia is on the right track towards progress to achieve the vision of ‘The Asian Economy Power House’ inspired by the Prime Minister, he said.

Through the same message, Ramanan said the People’s Service Centre of the Sungai Buloh Parliamentary constituency successfully implemented the MADANI Sales Programme for Cooperatives and Entrepreneurs (JMKU) in the Kota Damansara PPR, Sungai Buloh which was organised in collaboration with the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM).

“I have announced that this sale has the cheapest discount price which is up to 50 per and JMKU in Sungai Buloh is the cheapest in the whole of Malaysia,” he said. – Bernama
