QUITO (Reuters) – Business heir Daniel Noboa announced his victory in Ecuador’s presidential race on Sunday, following the concession of his rival, leftist Luisa Gonzalez.
Noboa had secured over 52% of the vote, while Gonzalez had garnered around 48%, with approximately 90% of ballot boxes counted.
