Lockly, a tech company specializing in smart locks, has unveiled a new lock called “Visage” at CES 2024. This lock features facial recognition technology, allowing users to open doors without keys. In addition to facial recognition, the lock also includes a biometric fingerprint sensor and digital keypad for alternative entry methods. The Visage lock is set to be available this summer and is compatible with Apple HomeKey and Apple Home.
CEO Rex Wong of Hollo AI discussed the company’s “AI personalization technology”, which creates digital twins of individuals using a selfie and voice memos uploaded to an app. Content creator Mckenzi Brooke expressed how her digital twin allows her to interact with her followers across various social media platforms 24 hours a day.

At the Sony press conference, the company drove the Afeela EV onto the stage using a PlayStation controller, while Hyundai spotlighted its plans to utilize hydrogen energy for fuel cell vehicles and energy production, storage, and transportation.
Another collaboration announced at CES 2024 is between Samsung and Hyundai to develop “home-to-car” and “car-to-home” services for all Kia and Hyundai vehicles. The collaboration allows users to control their car’s cabin temperature and home’s lights using Samsung’s SmartThings service.
