Giulio Magalini contributed 19 points to lead Italy to a 25-19, 26-24, and 25-15 victory, with Lorenzo Sala and Lorenzo Cortesia adding 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Italy demonstrated their dominance by earning 13 points from successful blocks, while China only managed to secure six.
In the other semifinal match on Saturday, Poland defeated Iran by scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-11. Dawid Dulski was the top scorer for Poland with 16 points, supported by Michal Gierzot and Damian Patryk Kogut who each contributed 10 points.
The gold medal will be contested between Poland and Italy on Monday, while China and Iran will compete for the bronze medal.
