PRAGUE, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) — Around 50 Chinese companies are taking part in the ongoing Brno International Engineering Fair in Brno, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic.
The Chinese businesses are exhibiting various products, such as laser cutting machines, machine tools, bearings, motors, and photovoltaic equipment, during the four-day fair that commenced on Tuesday.
While some of these companies are participating for the first time, others have been returning to the fair for several years, all with the aim of exploring potential business opportunities.
Jinan Xintian Technology Co. Ltd, based in Shandong Province, China, has already made sales of two laser products to Czech clients. “We brought three laser products to the fair, and they have gained significant popularity,” said Wu Yunhui, a sales manager from the company, in an interview with Xinhua.
Bodor Laser, a Chinese manufacturer of laser cutting machines, has expanded its exhibition area this year and has observed substantial growth in the Czech market over the past year.
“Last year, we established connections with 57 potential customers, and this year we anticipate doubling that number,” stated Zhao Bin, marketing director of Bodor, in an interview with Xinhua.
Li Dongxu, a representative from the Machinery Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, which organized the Chinese companies’ participation in this year’s event, emphasized the significance of the Brno fair as a prominent industrial expo in Central and Eastern Europe.
Originally focused on machine tools and forming machines, the Brno International Engineering Fair has expanded its scope to include automation, industrial robots, 3D printing, and digitization. The current event boasts the participation of over 1,300 companies.
