Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced the launch of its “Capture the Future” corporate social responsibility (CSR) project in collaboration with Bangladeshi SOS Children’s Villages on Saturday in Dhaka. The project aims to conduct over 100 public imaging classes across six SOS Children’s Villages in Bangladesh to support comprehensive education for children.
Over the course of the next three years, Vivo will provide smartphones as teaching tools for imaging courses. The initiative is expected to enhance the learning experience and technological skills of the children involved in the program.
One local student, Fatema Sultana, shared her excitement about the project, expressing her enjoyment of photography with smartphones as she captures moments from daily life. This initiative is seen as a valuable opportunity for children to explore their creativity and discover new interests.
Md Enamul Haque, the National Director of Bangladeshi SOS Children’s Villages, praised the project as a significant step towards inspiring and empowering boys and girls in the field of technology. He believes that this initiative will open up new avenues for learning and personal growth for the children participating in the program.
