According to a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman, the traffic flow at the Jalan Duta Toll Plaza (northbound), Sungai Besi Toll Plaza (southbound), and Gombak Toll Plaza (heading to the East Coast) was smooth on Thursday (Feb 8) evening.
He also mentioned that traffic flow in the north and east continued to be smooth, including at the KL-Karak (KLK) Highway and East Coast Highway 1 (LPT1) and LP2. However, there was slow-moving traffic from Slim River to the Menora Tunnel in Perak.
PLUS Traffic update on its X account reported an accident at (KM) 38.1 southbound from Sedenak to Kulai, resulting in slower traffic flow, although no lanes were blocked.
Earlier in the day, at 4 pm, the traffic flow on several major expressways was reported to be slow-moving due to the long holiday ahead of the Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday (Feb 10).- Bernama
