KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil expressed his condolences to the family of singer Badrul Izhan Yeop Abdullah, also known as Bad Indigo (pic), who passed away at his workplace in Ampang, Selangor, at 7pm on Thursday (Oct 26).
According to reports from local media, the 48-year-old died of a heart attack at 7pm on Thursday.
In a Facebook post, Fahmi also sent prayers to the family, hoping they would find strength during this difficult time.
“My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Bad Indigo’s family. Al-Fatihah,” he said.
The band Indigo, which was formed in 1996, gained popularity by performing Malay pop songs.
The group also consisted of Mohamed Shahrin Mohamed Samsudin, Shahrul Nizam Abdul Aziz, and Nor Shazman Nor Shahid. – Bernama
