    Cops identify woman who drowned in Ampang lake

    It has been confirmed that the naked body found in Tasik Pandan Lake View in Pandan Perdana belonged to a 53-year-old local woman.

    Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail stated that a post-mortem was carried out at Hospital Ampang and the cause of death was determined to be drowning.

    When contacted on Monday (Feb 12), he said, “The cause of death was drowning.”

    The police were alerted by the public on Sunday (Feb 11) that a woman without any clothes had entered the lake at 8.13am.

    Her body was found approximately two hours after she was last seen.

    No identification documents were discovered at the scene.
