PETALING JAYA: Two police reports have been filed regarding the death of a 10-year-old girl at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) Klang.
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that the reports were made by the girl’s father and representatives of the hospital.
Comm Hussein emphasized that a thorough investigation would be conducted.
“The police have conducted investigations into this case without infringing on anyone’s rights.
“Furthermore, we urge the public not to speculate and to contact investigation officer Natalia Allin at 03-5514 5222 or 019-6422 985, or their nearest police station,” he said.
HTAR director Dr Zulkarnain Mohd Rawi announced on Friday (July 14) that the hospital would conduct an investigation into the recent death of a 10-year-old girl who was receiving treatment.
This decision followed the circulation of a viral video on TikTok, where the girl’s father claimed that she died while struggling during a blood draw.
The girl was admitted to the hospital on July 9 due to fever and flu symptoms.
