KUALA LUMPUR: Police are verifying claims that a Malaysian identity card and driving licence were found in Levadne in Zaporizhia, Ukraine.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain (pic) said on Tuesday (Oct 29) they are checking on the claims by obtaining details from the Foreign Ministry.

Several photos depicting a MyKad and Malaysian driving licence found in a battlefield had gone viral recently.
The documents were reportedly found after Russian forces took a Ukrainian position in Levadne.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement it was unable to confirm the veracity of the information and urged Malaysians to take precautions while abroad. – Bernama
