PRAGUE (Reuters) – Czech police have discovered 646 kilograms (1,424.19 lb) of cocaine concealed among bananas en route to a local supermarket, as reported by the news website. The drugs were found inside boxes that had arrived from Ecuador. This seizure is estimated to be valued at 2 billion Czech crowns ($91.17 million), making it one of the largest drug shipments discovered by the police in the Czech Republic.
Unfortunately, a spokesperson for the police anti-drug department was unavailable for immediate comment on this significant seizure.
The current exchange rate is $1 equivalent to 21.9360 Czech crowns.
