On Dec 2 (Dec 3 in Malaysia), the popular battle royale game Fortnite is set to host a live in-game performance by rapper Eminem as part of its Big Bang event.
Developer Epic Games has announced that the event will commence at 2pm Eastern Standard Time (3am in Malaysia), with the game open to users 30 minutes prior to the event for cosmetics preparation.
Furthermore, the live performance will be available for all players at no charge.
Prior to the event, the game has made three character skin cosmetics featuring Eminem available for purchase at the in-game item shop.
These character skins include Eminem’s classic Slim Shady look (priced at 1,900 V-Bucks), superhero-styled Rap-Boy (1,500 V-Bucks), and Marshall Never More (1,500 V-Bucks) based on his appearance on the album cover of Music To Be Murdered By.
Furthermore, players attending the Big Bang event will gain access to an additional outfit style for the Marshall Never More skin called Marshall Magma.
Fortnite has a history of hosting concerts featuring some of the biggest artists in the world, including Ariana Grande, Marshmello, and Travis Scott.
