(Reuters) – Veteran ice dance partners Madison Chock and Evan Bates delivered a stunning performance at the world championships in Montreal, earning a score of 90.08 for their rhythm dance routine. This impressive score puts the American duo in a strong position to secure their second consecutive world title.

Following closely behind Chock and Bates are Italians Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri, who scored 87.52 and currently hold second place. In third position are home favourites Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier of Canada, with a score of 86.51. Being here for an 11th world championships, healthy and still enjoying it all, it’s the greatest victory of all.” The couple’s perseverance and dedication to their sport have paid off, as they continue to amaze audiences with their skill and artistry.
