KUALA LUMPUR: Wanita Umno has requested its members and party leaders to focus on the upcoming by-elections, according to its chief Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad. She added that her team will be working with the party’s leadership to develop the most effective strategy to strengthen Umno.

Furthermore, Noraini Ahmad mentioned that they will be seeking the support of the public to endorse Umno and Barisan Nasional. She highlighted that the success of Barisan Nasional in the six recent state elections was the collective responsibility of the entire party leadership. She stressed that this is not the time to shift blame onto any particular party.

In her statement released today (Aug 20), Noraini Ahmad stated that all party members must sincerely accept the outcome of the state elections. She emphasized the need to empower the unity government for the sake of the country’s stability and the people’s prosperity.

She added, “This unity agenda is of utmost importance for all of us to come together and work towards building our nation.”

The by-elections are expected to be a crucial test for Wanita Umno and the wider Barisan Nasional coalition, as they strive to regain political influence in the country. Focusing on these by-elections will allow the party to gauge the level of public support and the effectiveness of their strategies.

Wanita Umno has traditionally played an important role in mobilizing women voters and maintaining strong grassroots support for Umno. Therefore, their active involvement and dedication in these by-elections will be crucial in determining the party’s future political standing.
