KUALA LUMPUR: The Madani government’s one-year anniversary will be celebrated with a program from December 8 to 10, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office on Wednesday (November 15).
The statement indicated that the purpose of the program is to promote new policies and initiatives, raise public awareness and understanding of the government’s direction and goals, and build trust and confidence between the government and the people through regular reporting of its achievements.
The program will involve collaboration with various ministries, government agencies, government-linked companies, non-governmental organizations, and private entities.
The three components of the program will focus on showcasing the Madani government’s ‘One Year Achievements’, the touchpoints of services for the people and its well-being initiatives for the people.
The office stated, “These three components are the government’s efforts to ensure that the interests of the people are prioritized.”
The three-day event is organized by the Prime Minister’s office through the Performance Enhancement Coordination Unit (Pacu) and the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC).
The attractions throughout the three days will include offering various services to the people, engagement sessions with various ministries, and a Madani Mega Sale, among other activities.
“The people will have the opportunity to see the government’s achievements through an exhibition highlighting achievements of all ministries along with the government’s long-term plans,” the statement said.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to be present at the closing ceremony of the event on December 10, along with other ministers.
The public is invited to participate in the event from December 8 to 10, held at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium from 9am to 10pm.
