Dec. 24th, 2023 – A militant group with far-left ideologies has issued a threat to carry out a series of attacks against various targets in Greece, including political, economic, and police entities.
The group, known as “Armed Proletarian Justice”, recently emerged and made their intentions clear in a statement posted on a popular anti-establishment website. They also claimed responsibility for the planting of an explosive device outside the headquarters of the Greek riot police in Athens on December 18th.
The explosive device, which was discovered on Monday, was found inside a plastic container and contained C4 explosives and gelatin dynamite. After a warning call was issued to two local newspapers, the Greek Anti-Terror Service dispatched a disposal squad to the site, who were able to neutralize the bomb.
