The front door of a bank in Kota Damansara was accidentally shattered on Tuesday (Dec 26) morning when the security guard accidentally fired his pump gun.
According to Petaling Jaya deputy OCPD Supt M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly, the police received a report of a shot being heard at the bank at 10.13am.
Supt M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly stated, “Police personnel were deployed to the scene and discovered that a security guard in his 50s had fired the shot with his pump gun, accidentally shattering the glass on the front door.”
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. Supt M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly also mentioned that “The guard tested negative for drugs” and that “We are investigating under Section 39 of the Firearms Act 1960.”
